The ideal candidate willbe passionate about the hospitality industry, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proventrack record of managing a successful bar or restaurant. The General Manager will beresponsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, anddriving financial success.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the sports bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.- Manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency andcustomer satisfaction.- Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgets, cost control, andprofitability.- Report directly to company owners / Directors- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safeenvironment.- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to increase customerengagement and revenue.- Handle customer complaints and feedback, striving to improve overall guest experience.- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory andsupplies.- Plan and organize special events, including sports screenings, themed nights, andcommunity events.- Maintain a visible presence in the bar, engaging with customers and staff to foster apositive atmosphere.Qualifications:- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry,preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Solid understanding of financial principles and business management.- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.- Must be in-house a minimum of 5 days a week.- Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software.- Passion for sports and creating a lively, enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
